A session was organized by the management of #TheHorizonSchoolThanoRoadDehradun on 10/2/2024 on the topic: Understanding the Challenges Faced by Parents of Students in Grades 6-9.
The session aimed to delve into the various challenges faced by parents of students in grades 6-9, recognizing parents' pivotal role in their children's academic and personal development. Some common areas shared by parents were Academic Pressures, Social and Emotional Development, Technology and Screen Time, Communication and Parenting Styles, Mental Health and Well-being, and Transitioning to High School.

The session provided a platform for parents to share their experiences, concerns, and insights regarding the challenges faced during their children's middle school years. By acknowledging and addressing these challenges collaboratively, the school community can work together to support students' holistic development and well-being in grades 6-9. Moving forward, ongoing communication, resources, and initiatives will continue to empower parents and students alike.
